Apartment Shopping Turned out to Be Easy

January 7th, 2018 by admin

I wanted to see pictures of The Oaks of North Dallas Apartments, so my friend took a ride by there and took some for me. She then sent me an email and told me to click here to see all the pictures she took. The reason she did that is because I lived over two hours away at the time so it was not as easy for me to hop in my car and take a drive there. I did see some pictures on the website for the apartment complex, but I wanted to make sure that the reality of the complex matched what they were showing on the website.

I know that makes me sound like I don’t trust people, which is partially accurate. Continue reading ‘Apartment Shopping Turned out to Be Easy’

A Three Bedroom Luxury Apartment

January 7th, 2018 by admin

I knew that I wanted a three bedroom apartment even though it would just be my daughter and I living in it. I had a feeling that we would have frequent overnight guests between relatives and friends, and I did want to have a guest room ready for anyone who needed a room for the night, or week! That is why I did a search for three bedroom luxury apartments for rent in Simpsonville SC, and I am really surprised that I was able to find a nice one as fast as I did.

The layout is really nice. When you walk in the front door, there is a closet right there for coats, shoes, or whatever else we need it for. Continue reading ‘A Three Bedroom Luxury Apartment’

I Got a New Refrigerator Because My Mom Was Upset with Her Ice Maker

January 7th, 2018 by admin

My mom bought a new fridge last year, and she offered to let me have her old one. Well, to her it was old, but it was a lot newer than the one I had been using. My brothers brought it down for me and set it up, and they even took my old one away. It was so nice having so much more space in both the fridge and freezer. There is an automatic ice maker too, but that didn’t work for me until I contacted a company that handles appliance repair in Sacramento.

I would have asked one of my brothers to fix it for me, but they know probably as little about it as I do. I didn’t mind making my ice cubes myself, but I knew that I wanted to have it fixed before the hot summer days were upon us. The draw of having crushed ice for my tea and lemonade was just too strong, and I figured it probably would not cost too much to have someone come out and figure out why the ice machine was not working. My Back Feels a Whole Lot Better when the Sun is Shining and the Weather is Warm

January 7th, 2018 by admin

My brother calls me a lot in the winter. He keeps asking my wife and I to bring the dogs and come for a winter visit. He lives where it is warm. He moved south when he was in the Army and stayed there even after he retired from the military. Now he consults for a security firm, and he spends a lot of time on the water. He calls me “Cream Cheese” because I live in Philadelphia. It is a play on the brand of cheese I use. He asked if I had seen my chiropractor in Philadelphia yet this winter. I told him how I have been going about twice per week right now.

He knows how it gets for me in the winter. I have vacation time saved up, but I liked to take it in the summer. He told me to take a week and come visit now to give my back a break from the cold. He told me it was 82 degrees today at his house, and the water is nice. Not as warm as in August, but still nice. I cannot even imagine it being above 50 in January. You Made My Daughter’s Assignment Easier

January 7th, 2018 by admin

The website photoscanningsoftwarereview.com was very helpful when I was helping my daughter scan old news clippings into a website she was making for school. My daughter was in high school and they had an assignment to make a website about your family history. My family has lived in Chicago for many years and had two bakeries so we had lots of fun newspaper clippings about our family business along with some great old photos. Our family bakery was the backbone of our family. I remember going there every day after I would get out of school. I would do little jobs around the bakery. But my mother always made sure our school was done first. She would get me a huge glass of milk and my favorite donut and then sit me down at one of the back tables and tell me to get busy.

I know it was a different childhood then most of my friends, but it was also a great one too. All of my friends wanted to come over to the bakery after school to try our pastries. Continue reading ‘You Made My Daughter’s Assignment Easier’

How Hard is It to Put in a Shower

January 21st, 2016 by admin

We are not sure what are going to do yet, but we have started thinking about doing the bath over. In fact we were thinking about it from the moment we bought the house, but obviously it was not the top priority. We have lots of bills, but in a couple of months we are going to have my pick up truck paid off. I am not going to need a new truck for a few years, so we have thought about what to do with the money. I talked to the guy with shower doors in Union county NJ. It is called Glass Plus. Looking for a Place in Tampa

January 21st, 2016 by admin

I am having a pretty good time down here, but right now I am sort of living on a friend’s couch temporarily. That is not a long term solution, his girlfriend is being nice about it so far, but it is obvious that both of them would like for me to get my own place sooner rather than later. I took a ride down to check out a place called the sanctuaray at highland oaks apartments. It seems like a silly name in my opinion, but the apartments are pretty nice really. The problem is that they only have two and three bedroom places available and I need something with a one bedroom price. I am going to have to keep looking and I might have to do something on a short term basis. I also looked at one of those long term stay hotel type places. Getting Around Town in a Limo

August 14th, 2015 by admin

When my best friend told me that her boyfriend finally proposed to her, I was so happy for them both. They have had to deal with a lot in their relationship, but I knew that they were meant to be together. She asked me to be her maid of honor, and I happily accepted that honor. It did not take me long to plan a bachelorette party for her either. We have a close group of friends, and I knew that they would all want to be included in this special night. I contacted Star Night Limousine, which is a limo company not too far from where I live. Continue reading ‘Getting Around Town in a Limo’

Working Part Time is Helping Me to Get Through School

April 13th, 2018 by admin

My career goal is to become a chef. I had wanted to go to cooking school for a long time, but that was impossible when I worked full time. So, I found a job working only part time doing post tenancy cleaning in Singapore for a business that specializes in cleaning. It’s really nice because it is a low-key job. I work for them in the morning, and in the afternoon and evening, I head to the local cooking school for my classes. It is an easy way to keep bringing in money while I work on graduating.

There is no one in my family who can help to pay my way through school. I live at home with my parents, but they have a lot of things they need to do with when it comes to bills and keeping food on the table. I don’t want to have those same types of struggles when I am their age. It seems like a hard way to get through life. Continue reading ‘Working Part Time is Helping Me to Get Through School’

School Opened My Eyes to My Own Arrogance

April 11th, 2018 by admin

I had an attitude when first I entered my college university on my dad’s dime. I did well in high school, and I told my parents and myself that I could just breeze through college next with no trouble. Reality punched me hard when I failed two physics tests and barely understood my homework. My dad said he would give me a chance to redeem myself by going to get help at Physics Tuition, which is owned by a man who helps young people make it through their physics classes in school. Dad told me that if I refused to take him up on his offer to pay for the extra tutoring, I would be on my own and he would no longer pay for me to get through college.

After failing my second test, I went home to visit my parents one weekend. Mom sheepishly said that she’d been wanting to redecorate their downstairs basement, and that she wouldn’t mind using my college tuition for that since I wasn’t taking my university courses seriously. Needed a Clean Up when Moving out

February 4th, 2018 by admin

My wife and I really needed some moving out cleaning in Singapore done on our condo after we boxed up all of our belongings. You never really understand how much stuff you have until you’re forced to put every single item in a box. What an exhausting experience! And all of that came after securing new living arrangements, setting up dates to move out of the old place and into the new, and lining up a moving truck to load up all of our stuff and take it across the city. We’re exhausted and still have so much to do.

I shuddered when my wife looked around and said we really should do something about cleaning the place up once we get everything out of the place. The last thing I wanted to do was spend a few more hours wiping everything down and sweeping and mopping floors. Then we realized a lot more had to be done, such as wiping down baseboards and cleaning windows. I didn’t even want to think about tackling the bathroom. We’re not slobs by any stretch of the imagination, but you know how much time all of that takes even when you keep up on it.

I nearly fell into my wife’s arms in relief when she suggested we hire a cleaning company to do some moving out cleaning. Why didn’t I think of that? We got on the laptop and in no time at all found a great company that would come out at our convenience and make sure the condo looked good for the landlord and the next residents. They arrived on time and set to work and we didn’t even have to be here. When we came back we marveled at how great everything looked. We have no doubts that the landlord will be quite happy about how good the unit looks.

My Son is Excelling in Class Again

January 31st, 2018 by admin

I wanted to find the best physics tutor for my son. He was doing well in his schooling already, but this was his lowest score out of all his classes. Even though it was still an A, I knew that he could do better. Don’t get the wrong idea. I am not one of those parents who put a ton of pressure on his children. It’s quite the opposite. I do what I can to help take the pressure off of my kids. After looking at quite a few websites, I finally decided that https://physicstuitionsg.com was definitely the cream of the crop.

I wanted the best, which is why I looked at so many. Continue reading ‘My Son is Excelling in Class Again’

I Got a Luxury Apartment for a Price I Can Afford

January 7th, 2018 by admin

I like tile in the bathroom, but I like to feel carpeting under my feet. I know that many people are going nuts for hardwood floors. Well, I like to sink my toes into carpeting. It feels great on my bare feet in the mornings. I have never been a slipper person. I found an apartment that is a luxury apartment in Lewisville, Texas. You can click here for website information to see for yourself. I have a nice kitchen with an island sink and dishwasher. The rooms are spacious, and I have a lot of closet space. No more containers and freestanding closets to hold my clothes. I can actually get everything in the bedroom closet with room left over.

The common areas with the fireplace and the billiards is great for entertaining or hanging out with the neighbors. Continue reading ‘I Got a Luxury Apartment for a Price I Can Afford’

Don’t Let a Mistake Define You

August 14th, 2017 by admin

Everyone makes mistakes, and I my sister made one of those mistakes. I know she was having a hard time in her life after her divorce. I wanted to help her, because I didn’t think she should have to pay a high cost for her mistake. I know some people turned their back on her but I was not going to be one of those people. I knew she needed a good lawyer, so I went online and started to look for one. I did a internet search for dwi lawyer in schenectady ny . I knew she was going to need a good lawyer to help her out of this mess. I was also able to get her into a good support group. Thankfully she was not in a accident and no one was hurt during the incident. I told her life could be so much worse right now and she should count her blessings. It took me a little while but then I found your website. I could tell right away you would be the perfect person to help my sister. Continue reading ‘Don’t Let a Mistake Define You’

My Back is Acting Up Again

March 23rd, 2017 by admin

It is becoming an old act for me at this point in the game. I originally hurt my back when I was in college, although I do not claim to really recall that night very well. Other people told me about it and it involved two beer kegs and a really good looking girl that I was infatuated with at that time. In truth when I woke up my head hurt so badly that I did not realize that I had hurt my back. A chiropractor in Cumming GA fixed it for me. I did not know enough to realize that you have to take a lot of care when you pick one of them, although later on I realized that a chiropractor can really mess you up if he or she makes a mistake. It is something that you need to think about, but it is not something that you should probably get too wrapped up in I suppose. There is always going to be a chance that you are going to draw the short straw and get a bad result. Continue reading ‘My Back is Acting Up Again’

The Hottest Summer in Recent Memory

September 15th, 2016 by admin

The temperatures have probably been as hot as they always are, but this feels like the hottest summer I’ve ever been in. It was bad enough to have to deal with the heat, but when I faced a broken air conditioner, things got even worse. Before seeking HVAC repair in NYC, I tried various methods to stay cool, but it was all a waste of time. I pointed multiple fans at myself, but that only made me hot, because the same hot air kept blowing back into my face. I tried making my own air conditioner out of tubes, a water pump, a bucket of ice, and a fan. Continue reading ‘The Hottest Summer in Recent Memory’

3D Television is an Inevitability

January 21st, 2016 by admin

2010 was the year of 3D movies. From Alice in Wonderland released in March to the year-end release of Gulliver’s Travels, with 23 3D movies in 2010 and many more coming in 2011, one thing is for sure 3D craze is not a temporary fad. 3D is of course not a new technology. It has a used in movies since 1950s but it was James Cameron’s “Avatar” that pushed 3D firmly into the mainstream once and for all. Now, is Charter Communications ready to bring 3-D to cable televisions at home?

The last year has seen the 3D revolution hitting the consumer electronics market. From 3D-enabled Blu-ray players to laptops, it seems there’s nothing left in the tech market that is left untouched by the magic wand of 3D. 3D is also being pushed as the next big thing by TV manufacturers. They’re hyping the shift from 2D to 3D as the biggest transition consumers have seen since TV went from black-and-white to color. The year 2010 saw the bigwigs in the TV manufacturing scenario bringing their 3D enabled TV sets into the market and also many TV networks venturing into the 3D channel arena.

Japanese cable channel BS11 had already ventured into 3D programming in 2008. Continue reading ’3D Television is an Inevitability’

I Now Take Backups Seriously

January 21st, 2016 by admin

You would think that I would have learned the very first time when I lost over 10,000 digital photos and other important data when my home computer crashed. The truth is that I was being naive because it was a brand new computer that I had purchased only one month prior, so I assumed that I was safe. I also run a small business, and within only one week of the crash at home, my server at my business also crashed. It was just my luck, but it was also my own fault that I had no backup hosting service. In both situations I was trying to scrimp on what’s important, and I ended up paying a big price.

In the case of my home computer, I quickly called my network administrator, who is also my employee. Continue reading ‘I Now Take Backups Seriously’

Finding a New Place to Live

August 14th, 2015 by admin

My wife and I were thinking about moving because we felt that our family was getting too big for our one story, two bedroom home. Our kids were getting bigger and did not like the idea of sharing a room anymore. The rooms in the house were all a bit on the small side and we just wanted more space. Luckily I had gotten a promotion at my job and began saving up for this purpose. We began to browse the web when I decided to click here to check out all the different properties in the area. It can be hard finding a new place to live when you’re married because you really need to be on the same page. Continue reading ‘Finding a New Place to Live’

Thieves Pick Easy Targets and ADT Makes Your Home a Hard Target They Want to Avoid

July 24th, 2015 by admin

We used to sit on our front porch and see only a neighbor or two in the evenings walking their dogs or working in their yards. A huge field adjacent to our block was developed into a housing plan. Then the older folks in the neighborhood began dying off, and landlords bought their homes to rent them out to pretty much anyone who could afford the rent. Many of the homes were not remodeled after purchase making them low rent places. After our car had a window broken out and a GPS stolen, we decided to get ADT for the house before the thieves graduated to home burglary.

It was not long before my neighbor, who did not have a home security system, had his house burglarized while he was at work. They targeted him because they knew he worked on the river system being gone for three weeks and home for three weeks. They had full run of the place to clean him out. We work so did not see them when they were burglarizing him. Other folks on the block work day jobs too.
